Abstract: A virtual oscilloscope was designed by using the LabVIEW software. Signals supplied by a pulse generator and background radiation signals from a NaI(Tl) scintillation detector were displayed in a real and a virtual oscilloscope, respectively. Amplitude, maximum voltage, rise time and fall time values through the oscilloscopes for both type signals ... Show More

Abstract: The alpha energy spectra of 210Po were achieved through experimental and theoretical methods. The spectrometer which was consisted of silicon semiconductor surface barrier detector (SBD) was used to obtain experimental energy spectrum of the isotope. The theoretical alpha energy spectrum was also achieved through FLUKA Monte Carlo method to analyze... Show More

Abstract: Gamma-ray energy spectra were acquired using a Multichannel Analyzer (MCA) and a digitizer. A spectrometer which was consisted of a NaI(Tl) inorganic scintillation detector and a digitizer were used to obtain energy spectra of 137Cs radioisotope. The energy resolution values from analog and digital ways were calculated and compared with each other.... Show More
